General

The Jackson USA Select B8 Deluxe (Satin Gray) is a big bundle of professional metal noise, wrapped in a stylish, grey package. With this electric guitar you can dive into the world of 8-string masterpieces without a care in the world, as it provides you with great construction quality, sound and playing comfort. The neck is made of quartersawn maple which makes it very stable. On top of that, the heavy, die-cast strings-through-body bridge provides stable tones and a direct sound which is rich in sustain.
Body, neck, fretboard and pickups
All Deluxe models from the USA Select Series have been equipped with a neck-through-body construction. This means that the neck runs through the entire length of the body in order to get a better sound transfer. Select guitars are also the proud owners of a deeply resonating alder body and a bright-sounding ebony fretboard. The well-known DiMarzio D Activators take care of a very tight, powerful output like active pickups do, but with lots of headroom and rich trebles.
