General

The seven-string Jackson SLATXMGQ3-7 is a transparent black guitar and is perfect for metal music and other styles that require fast playing. It is equipped with a reliable Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge that will keep your strings in tune, no matter how low you drop the tone. The two active EMG pickups guarantee a very high output and a tight sound on all gain levels while the extra bass string (a B flat) gives your sound some added depth.
SLATXMGQ3-7: tone, looks and comfort
What makes the SLATXMGQ3-7 such a striking instrument is its beautifully arched top made of quilted maple. Because the black lacquer is transparent, you can see the pattern of this wood type perfectly. The neck runs through the entire length of the body which results in a better sustain and a more direct tone. The guitar also offers a lot of playing comfort as it has a slender Speed Neck and a compound radius-fretboard which allows you to play your solo parts smoothly.
Jackson Guitars
The renowned American brand Jackson Guitars was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson. Jackson's guitars have an elegant design, a sharp headstock, shark fin position markers and a powerful sound that is perfect for metal music. The Soloist (with neck-through-body) is the most popular series, of which the X models are the more affordable versions.
