General

With the Jackson SLATXMGQ3-6 advanced metal musicians (and other fast-playing, technical guitarists) get great value for their money. Its transparent sunburst lacquer, with a beautiful pattern of quilted maple underneath, makes this guitar is a true eye-catcher. Its sound will also give you great satisfaction: the two active EMG pickups produce a high output and will sound bright and tight even at the highest gain levels.
The comfort of the SLATXMGQ3-6
The SLATXMGQ3-6 has a neck-through-body construction which means that the neck runs through along the entire length of the body. This doesn't only look nice but it also gives a more direct tone and a longer sustain. A slim Speed Neck and a compound radius-fretboard, that is convex and flattens towards the body, allow you to play fast solo parts smoothly. And last but not least, this Jackson instrument is fitted with a highly reliable Floyd Rose Special tremolo!

The renowned American brand Jackson Guitars was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson.
