General

Mick Thomson from Slipknot doesn't just look imposing, he knows how to make a wall of noise with his guitar too. He got together with Jackson to design his own signature electric guitar, the Pro Series SL2 Soloist. It has a solid mahogany body and is equipped with his own signature Seymour Duncan Blackouts EMTY pickups. These active humbuckers were developed to deliver a tight and bright sound even with lower tunings. This guitar gives you serious sustain, aggressive mids and palm mutes you'll feel in your bones!

Pro SL2 Mick Thomson Soloist: innovative

At first sight, it looks like the Pro SL2 has a Floyd Rose tremolo, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the Mick Thomson soloist has a Jackson MTB which is a recessed fixed bridge with fine tuners. That gives it excellent tuning stability and means you can make accurate adjustments with ease. The 3-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite and the instrument has a neck-thru design. This also enhances the tuning stability as well as the sustain.
