General

If you want to dive deeper than you ever had before, this seven-string Jackson Dinky DK7-Q is perfect. The extra string (low B) on this electric guitar allows you to play those heavy, low riffs. As this guitar is equipped with a set of powerful Seymour Duncan Distortion humbuckers and a stable Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, this mean machine is perfect for rougher music styles such as metal. The DK7-Q has a Transparent Red finish.
Jackson Pro DK7-Q: 4A quilted maple top
The body of this Dinky is made of alder with a 3.2mm thick top of 4A-quality quilted maple. This isn't just a thin layer of veneer! The neck is made of maple and has been reinforced with graphite for optimal stability. It's covered with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with a compound radius (from 12 inches to 16 inches). This means that you can comfortably play your chords at the lower positions and easily make string bends on the higher positions. This Pro DK7-Q has also been fitted with a practical spoke wheel-style truss rod on the side of the neck pickup. This way, the headstock maintains its maximum strength.
Seymour Duncan Distortion and Floyd Rose
Jackson guitars are known for their metal image and this seven-string shredding guitar proves that once and for all with its two Seymour Duncan SH-7 Distortion humbuckers. These pickups have a high output, strong mids and a fat, articulated low end. Your low B-string will always sound tight! In order to make those soaring dive bombs without detuning a single tone, the Jackson Pro DK7-Q has been fitted with an original Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge with locking string nut.
