General

This guitar is the brother of the DK7-Q. It basically has the same features with the difference that this seven-string Dinky has a maple fretboard for just that bit of extra bite. The quilted maple of the DK7Q has been replaced by a beautiful Metallic Black lacquer. Thanks to the extra low B-string, a set of high-output Seymour Duncan Distortion pickups and a highly stable Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, this is an excellent choice for rougher music styles. It's perfect for genres such as metal, thrash, punk and hard rock.
Jackson Pro DK7-M: professional quality
Jackson's Pro Series offers you the professional looks and quality of a USA model but at a much more affordable price. This DK7-M has an alder body with a maple neck that has been reinforced with graphite. The neck is covered with a 24-fret maple fretboard, with a compound radius of 12 to 16 inches. This means that you can catch your chords comfortably at the lower positions and easily bend the strings higher on the neck. Thanks to the easily accessible spoke wheel-style truss rod nut at the end of the neck, a hole in the headstock is no longer necessary and its maximum strength is maintained.
Seymour Duncan Distortion and Floyd Rose
This Jackson is armed with two Seymour Duncan SH-7 Distortion humbuckers. They have a high output with strong mid tones and a fat, articulated low end and once again, this shows that Jackson guitars are genuine metal guitars. Your low B-string will always sound tight. In order to make those tearing dive bombs without detuning one single tone, the Pro DK7-Q has been fitted with a real Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge with a locking string nut.
