General

Surprisingly affordable, the no-nonsense seven-string edition of the Jackson Rhoads keeps things simple, from the stability of the String-Through-Body Hardtail bridge to the solid intonation of the 26.5 inch scale length. The classic pointed body of the Jackson Jackson JS Series Rhoads JS22-7 RR HT comes dipped in Satin Black and loaded with an extra low-B string, extending the note range and upping the sonic beef. Two High-Output 7-String humbuckers take care of the amplified sound, which is varied at will via a three-way pickup switch and a single tone and volume pot to shape a broad array of fearsome, fire-breathing tonal profiles. Add on the set of twenty-four jumbo frets and the 12 inch to 16 inch compound fretboard radius, and you're assured of accurate and controlled grip all the way up the neck.
