Backed up by a wealth of experience, Tom Quayle knows exactly what he looks for in an instrument, and every one of his exacting demands are met in the form of his own Ibanez Signature: the TQMS1-CTB. Coated in a sweet Celeste Blue paint-job, this electric guitar features a solid AZS-shaped body carved from alder and finished with a 4mm slice of maple, giving this model a beautifully balanced sound with outstanding resonance and long sustain from the off. The non-recessed Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge complete with titanium saddles and five tremolo springs further enhance the resonant transfer, and so this elegant sonic tool can be kept in perfect nick, it comes bundled up with a bespoke hardshell case.

The Ibanez Tom Quayle Signature TQMS1: Far-Reaching Sound

Quayle has hand-selected a Seymour Duncan Magic Touch-Mini for the neck position, giving his Signature Ibanez offering a clear and brightly defined foundation but with a touch more body and articulation to it than a standard Ibanez AZS. This mini humbucker is in perfect balance with the Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro single-coil that's been mounted at the bridge, which delivers all the characteristic twang and full mid-range needed to cut through the mix. This set up has been coupled with a dyna-MIX5 system and Alter Switch to amount to a total of five possible configurations.

Maximum Comfort

The neck has been carved out of ultra-stable and ultra-durable S-TECH roasted maple before being rubbed down with oil, giving it an immediately fast and nimble feel in the fret-hand. The rosewood fretboard comes loaded with a set of twenty-two stainless-steel jumbo frets and features a compound radius that shifts gradually from 9 inches at the headstock to 12 inches at the body, supporting quick chord transitions as well as flying leads. And, as a detailed final touch, Luminlay side-dots have been lined up to aid fret navigation in the dark.
