General

The RG8-BK is an 8-string electric guitar that's perfect for down-tuning heavy metal guitarists who are looking for more bass and low end in their sound. With 8 strings and 24 frets at your disposal, you won't have to change your tuning for every song because the lowest two strings will provide plenty of bass for booming metal riffs and power chords. The 5-piece Wizard II-8 neck is reinforced with KTS Titanium to ensure it can handle so tension.

Flat, fast and accurate

The RG8 is equipped with two IBZ-8 humbuckers that deliver a deep, warm sound to your amplifier. The pickups were specially developed for the 8-string RG guitar and remain clear even when the instrument is downtuned. The low, flat, fixed bridge leaves plenty of room for you to play fast solos and riffs while keeping the strings firmly in place. Finally, the fretboard has a flat radius which also aids your accuracy when you're playing solos.
