General

Following the introduction of the popular 6-string Prestige Series AHM models, Ibanez now serve up the RG752 for guitarists who want an extra string for a few extra low notes. Unsurprisingly, this electric creation crafted by experienced Japanese masterbuilders comes complete with a solid hard-shell case, so it's guaranteed that you'll be able to enjoy the playing comfort, the stunning looks and the high-quality sounds of this Ibanez solid-body for years if not decades. Meanwhile, to ensure the RG752 doesn't drop out of tune while you drop divebombs, it's equipped with a Lo-Pro Edge 7 tremolo bridge and a set of first-rate tuners from Gotoh.

The RG752AHM: Airy Yet Spicy Foundation Sound

Just like its 6-string counterparts, the RG752AHM features an ash body which helps to shape an airy yet spicy foundation sound that's sure to please players looking for tight tone. Plug it in, and the two low-gain DiMarzio PAF 7 humbuckers take care of lush trebles and an open low-end while the standard-issue 5-way switch provides that all important tonal flexibility. To finish the build, Ibanez have bolted on a relatively flat, Wizard-7 maple/wenge neck, which comes topped with a gorgeous birdseye maple fretboard.
