General

Ibanez offers a wide range of various 7-string guitars. Combine one of them with the RG series, which has been used for hard rock and metal music for years, and you get this Ibanez RG7421-BK (among others). This black model has been designed with high playing speeds in mind and offers that beloved heavy crunch sound that metal music is known for. The guitar has a very slim Wizard II-7 neck and is perfect for playing fast arpeggios. Its fretboard is made of rosewood and is fitted with 24 jumbo frets. The large radius makes for a relatively flat fretboard so that the strings are not quickly muted when you bend them.
Ibanez RG7421-BK: fixed bridge and QM-7 humbuckers
All seven strings remain perfectly tuned thanks to the fixed bridge which also greatly contributes to the tone and response of this model, compared to a vibrato bridge. The strings perfectly come into contact with the body and there is no reduced wooden body mass, which is the case with a tremolo bridge. The guitar is fitted with two QM-7 humbuckers to produce a full, warm sound and a 3-way pickup switch and volume and tone knobs really complete the RG7421-BK.

Ibanez RG7421-BK 7-string electric guitar black
Wrote the following about Ibanez RG7421-BK 7-string electric guitar black
Prettige Gitaar.
