General

Ibanez' RGEW521FM is an electric guitar with a mahogany body and a flamed maple top with a Natural Flat finish. The roasted maple neck has a fast Wizard III profile and the Macassar ebony fretboard has a radius of 15.75 inches and 24 jumbo frets for optimal playing comfort.. The wood types used in its construction give this model a warm tone overall with prominent mids. That means, that in addition to being perfect for styles like rock and metal, it can easily handle other styles of music as well.

Pickups and sounds

The RGEW521FM is equipped with two high-output DiMarzio humbucker pickups that deliver a huge sound with a wide dynamic range. The Tone Zone at the neck gives you a wide-ranging organic tone with clear lows and mids, while the Air Norton bridge pickup is warmer and deeper, yet retains excellent definition for rhythm and solo parts. The tone can be tweaked to perfection using the volume and tone controls along with the 5-way pickup switch.
