General

Part of the sublime Prestige Series, the RG5320 was crafted by Ibanez master-builders in Japan. The dark Cosmic Shadow top only hints at what lies beneath. The African mahogany body, maple and wenge neck, and Makassar ebony fretboard shapes the rich balanced sound that this formidable guitar is able to produce. The natural warmth, clarity and (thanks to the ebony fretboard) an extra tight bottom-end is registered by a set of Dimarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers and reinforced by the kind of power that retains immense presence whether wiped clean or drenched in face-melting distortion. This multi-dimensional Prestige model is also fitted with a coil-tap switch that can be flipped for a lighter, more sparkling single-coil sound.

The RG5320: A Super Wizard-Grade Neck

As expected of an Ibanez Prestige model, the playability is near immaculate. The five-piece Super Wizard profile neck is made by a combination of maple and wenge topped with the ebony fretboard and finished with white binding. This not only looks brilliant but sits so snug in your hand, you might never want to put it down. The Lo-Pro Edge locking tremolo bridge has been given a subtle design so it won't get in the way while it ensures stable tuning, no matter how much abuse it takes. This regal wizard of a guitar is made for highly demanding players with even higher standards.
