Next to sublime build quality, the Ibanez Prestige Series AZ2204NW offers the full electric solid-body playing experience and the remarkable tonal versatility of an HSS pick-up configuration. Comfortably contoured, this modern ST model not only sits snug up against the body but feels natural in your fret hand thanks to the super-stable, S-Tech Roasted maple neck and its EZ Oval C-profile. So you can keep the guitar safely stashed at home or securely wrapped up while on the road, Ibanez thoughtfully include a matching case.

The Ibanez AZ2204NW: HSS Pickups & The Dyna-MIX9 System

The compound radius of the rosewood fretboard runs from a more rounded 9 inches at the nut to a flatter 12 inches at the body. This, combined with the ultra-smooth edges of the 22 stainless steel jumbo frets, provides all the playability needed to support high-speed solos and riffs. Meanwhile, the Gotoh T1702B tremolo bridge has been fully primed for extreme vibrato tricks, and optimum tuning stability is a given thanks to a set of Gotoh MG-T locking tuners. Finally, and saving the best bit for last, the AZ2204N offers no less than 9(!) foundation sounds conjured up by the HSS configured set of Seymour Duncan Fortuna pickups, the 5-way switch, and the special Alter Switch of the Ibanez dyna-MIX9 system.
