General

The stunning poplar burl top of the Ibanez Premium Series RG1127PBFX-CIF isn't the only eye-catching feature this top-tier electric guitar offers. Here, a combination of basswood, poplar, maple, walnut, purpleheart and ebony has been used to bless this superb guitar with a unique foundation sound full of warmth, clarity and tight bass. Naturally, this is amplified to maximum effect by the two DiMarzio Fusion Edge 7 humbuckers, which can be split at will to open up a range of single-coil sounds. Cut out for a wide variety of styles, the RG1127PBFX-CIF has been fitted with Gotoh MG-T locking tuners for solid tuning stability, and a fast and snug feeling Wizard neck where on the fretboard side the frets have been given the Premium Fret Edge treatment to literally round out the already smooth playability.
