General

Combining the sonic versatility of an HSS pickup loadout with quality hardware and a well-crafted foundation, the Ibanez Premium Series AZ24P1QM scores full marks across the board. This tight electric guitar features three Alnico 5 Hyperion pickups supplied by none other than Seymour Duncan, which means you're getting a high-gain, highly dynamic bridge humbucker and two single-coils that sling clear, vintage-style tone. Add that to the 5-way switch and built-in dyna-MIX10 system and you've got plenty to flip between when it comes to tone.

The Ibanez AZ24P1QM: Premium Series Flair

It's not just the liquid-look of the quilted maple top that lends this Ibanez offering its distinct Premium Series flair, but the expert construction and detailing. The American basswood body lays down a powerful and hefty foundation sound and has been coupled with a super-stable bolt-on roasted maple neck that boasts the agile playing feel of an oval C-profile and oiled finish. A set of highly-durable stainless-steel frets lighten the load on the fret hand to support near-effortless lead and rhythm work, while the smooth action of the Gotoh T1502 tremolo bridge is harnessed to inject rapid, subtle vibratos. The set of Gotoh MG-T locking tuners don't just speed up string changes either, but have been teamed up with a Graph Tech nut to ensure outstanding tuning stability.
