General

The Ibanez AZ242BC is an electric guitar from the Premium series that's designed to be in perfect harmony with guitarists. It combines a traditional body style with modern functionality for a high level of playing comfort. It has a basswood body with ergonomic contours and the neck has a smooth curved finish and 24 stainless steel jumbo frets. The synchronised tremolo bridge and locking machine heads are both made by Gotoh so you can count on excellent tuning stability and accurate intonation. A soft case is included too.

AZ242BC-DET: beauty and versatility

The AZ242BC has a top made of bocote with a beautiful Deep Espresso Burst finish. The neck and fretboard are both made of roasted maple which provides a nice colour contrast. Two Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbucker pickups are fitted to the body and they deliver the balanced sound it produces to your amplifier. They also ensure that all the dynamics in your playing are accurately picked up as well.
