General

Ibanez designs its instruments to become one with the player which is why the AZ224F electric guitar from the Premium series has an ergonomic body and a comfortable neck with a smooth curved finish, 22 stainless steel jumbo frets and a Super All Access joint. It comes with a handy soft case included as well.

AZ224F: stylish finish

The AZ224F has a solid body made of American basswood with a flamed top and a beautiful Blue Iceberg Gradation finish. The wood types produce a well-balanced sound with a powerful midrange. The neck and the fretboard are both made of roasted maple and provide a nice colour contrast. The luminescent side dot position markers ensure you can find your way around the fretboard on the darkest of stages too.

Top-quality components

Considering its price, this guitar has some seriously good components. The Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups, for instance, have a moderate output with a clear sound and capture all of the nuances in your playing. There's a dyna-MIX 9 switching system with an Alter switch on board too that offers no fewer than nine different sound variations. Other than that, the bridge and the locking machine heads on this model are both made by the renowned Gotoh company.

Fantastische gitaar, zeer veelzijdig, heeft alles wat ik nodig heb. Mooie strat sounds en met de humbuckerpositie erg geschikt voor als je net even iets harder wil met wat meer gain. Echt een top gitaar!
