For those that want to learn how to rock wielding an electric solid-body that doesn't look like a garden-variety electric guitar, Ibanez have the awesomely affordable, burl-topped Gio Series GRGR221PA. Easy to play and a beauty to behold, this comfortably lightweight axe features a smooth-feeling GRG-style maple neck as well as a reverse headstock that sports the same finish as the poplar body. Here, Ibanez have mounted two humbuckers to guarantee modern double-coil sound, plus an F106 bridge so you can dish out your first solos without having to worry about tuning stability.
