Home to affordable, style-packed guitars, the Ibanez RG Gio Series is a great place to start off your riff-slinging career. The GRG320FA features a lightweight poplar body with a basswood and flamed maple art grain veneer top which, combined with the bolt-on maple neck, yields a thick, balanced foundation sound that's captured with maximum dynamics by a pair of Infinity R humbuckers as soon as the guitar is plugged into an amp. Throw in the five-way pickup switch and double-locking tremolo bridge and you've got all you need to comfortably pull off flamboyant solos and beefy rhythm parts, especially since the purpleheart fretboard has been given a 15.75-inch radius, 24 medium frets and white sharktooth position markers.
