With their Gio series, Ibanez has proven once more that a good guitar doesn't have to cost a fortune. The GAX30-BKN is a traditional double-cut guitar with a poplar body and a maple neck with a treated pine fretboard with 22 frets. In terms of tone, poplar is very similar to ash. This axe is a no-nonsense instrument, suitable for both beginners and advanced players who are after an affordable guitar that packs a punch!

GAX30: perfect for punk, rock and blues

This combination of wood types gives the GAX30 a balanced sound with plenty of sustain, forming an ideal base for the two feisty Ibanez Humbuckers. As you've come to expect from Ibanez, the hardware and finish is tip-top and it's built for a life on stage. This axe is especially suitable for genres like punk, rock and blues.
