Already a fan of the brilliant FR800 but don't mind an extra string? Check out this 7-string Ibanez FR807 electric guitar mounted with two Bare Knuckle Aftermath-7 humbuckers able to serve up a solid batch of modern metal sounds. Backed by the agile bass, airy highs and brutal mids of the bridge pickup, your riffs and leads effortlessly punch through any mix, while tapping the coil tap switch opens up yet another can of fiery single-coil sounds.

The FR807: Slim, Rugged, Stable and Black Flat

Almost as warm but a little more focussed compared to mahogany, the nyatoh used for the body gives this electric 7-string a brilliant tonal foundation supported by a bolt-on roasted maple neck. The matte Black Flat finish and black position markers ensure sleek look and, if you're already used to a 25.5-inch scale length and a slim neck with nice tall frets, you're in luck as that's the kind of playing comfort the Ibanez FR807 provides. Meanwhile, Gotoh locking machine heads and a Mono-rail bridge guarantee stable and accurate tuning.
