If six strings don't tickle your fancy, then the Ibanez Premium AZ427P2QM 7-string electric guitar just might. Equipped with a pair of Seymour Duncan Hyperion 7 pickups, this extended-range guitar shapes tight Alnico 5-style sounds that can be toggled via a 5-way pickup switch and the Alter Switch of the on-board dyna-MIX10 system which gives you an extra ten voicings to frame your licks, riffs and chords with.

The Ibanez AZ427P2QM: That Classic Seven-String Feel

Topped with a stunning slice of quilted maple, the American basswood body lays down a mid-rich foundation sound and has been bolted to a satin-gloss-coated, oval-C roasted maple neck for a snug feel. The 12-inch-radiussed rosewood fretboard and stainless steel jumbo frets only enhance the playability, while the Graph Tech nut, Gotoh MG-T locking tuners and T1572S tremolo bridge take care of more than solid tuning stability.
