The ultimate student model; every inch of the Ibanez AZ Essentials Series AZES31 electric guitar has been designed to streamline the learning process. To start, the body has been given the popular and ergonomic AZ shape and has been carved out of solid poplar, which is not only lightweight but lays down a warm and balanced tonal foundation. The 25-inch scale length is also shorter than standard, pulling the frets a little closer together to ease reach and reduce string tension for a much lighter feel beneath the fret-hand, making gripping notes and chords much easier for the beginner guitarist. While built to support novices as they take their first steps, the AZES31 is just as outstanding an instrument for more experienced players.
The Ibanez AZ Essentials AZES31: Versatile Single-Coil Sound
The Ibanez AZES31 comes loaded with a classic combo of three single-coil pickups, which can be isolated or combined to mix a vast array of different sonic colours. As an added bonus, Ibanez have finished this model with their own dynaMIX-8 switching system complete with Alter Switch, setting you up with a total of eight different tonal profiles, all voiced for a vast array of different genres and playing styles. Another excellent detail is the 'all-access neck joint', which places each of the 22 medium-frets within smooth and easy reach, and for maximum stability, the bridge has been fixed, while the newly-designed rounded saddles offer extra playing comfort. In short, every detail has been considered to complete a sleek model that will serve for decades to come.
