General

The Ibanez Axion Label RGD71ALPA-CKF 7-string comes topped with poplar burl and coated in a complex Charcoal Burst Black Stained Flat finish, to fully enhance the unique and jaw-dropping signatures of the ash bevels and macassar ebony fretboard. This model is tuned in A-standard and has a longer scale length of 26.5" to bring the string tension up to a nicely tight level, while the Monorail bridge and Gotoh locking tuners provide a stable base.

The Axion Label RGD71ALPA-CKF: Bare Knuckle Aftermath Pickups

It's already fairly clear that the RGD7 has been built for heavy guitar work, and just so you're totally sure, it comes mounted with a set of Bare Knuckle Aftermath-7 pickups. These passive humbuckers offer the perfect voicing to lower tunings and baritone guitars, so you're utterly assured of accurate, high-definition response and range, even under a thick layer of distortion, meaning that these pickups are the go-to if you're making progressive metal, djent, death metal, or metalcore. The added twist here is the additional coil-tap that can be flipped to double the tonal range.
