General
The Shorty is Höfner's exceptional, appealing take on affordable instruments for travelling electric guitarists. This is the Hofner Shorty CT Red, the crimson version of the reliable travel guitar with an excellent sound. The size of its body is as small as possible, its neck, however, has a standard scale length. The Shorty comes with a gig bag and is incredibly easy to carry, yet it retains the normal range of an electric guitar.
Take the Shorty anywhere
The Shorty was introduced in the '80s and is still an excellent choice for guitarists who like to practice and play anywhere. What's more, the beautiful red Hofner HCT-SH-R is equipped with Hofner's Open Humbucker pickup for a full, rugged sound that is perfect for numerous types of music. This guitar is a practical and unique addition to your electric-guitar collection!

Merci.

Tuesday 5 April 2016The German Hofner company will always have a certain connection to the Beatles—mostly because of Paul McCartney's love of the Hofner violin bass. Of course, Hofner is quite proud of this fact, and they've decided to celebrate it by releasing four handmade limited edition effects pedals for guitar and bass guitar: the Hofner Limited Edition Tremalux, Germanium Bass Fuzz, Sound Of The 60's Reverb and Time And Again Delay.
