The black Hofner Shorty CT is a very compact electric guitar with a very pleasant price tag. Ever since its introduction in the eighties, the Shorty has proven to be an excellent travel companion for electric guitarists. You still get an instrument that has the same string length as a standard electric solid-body guitar. The extraordinary Shorty CT Black comes with a special Hofner gig bag to make transporting it even easier.
Hofner’s Shorty CT Black: a very manageable, yet full-fledged electric guitar
This basic Hofner is equipped with a humbucker pickup plus volume and tone controls, giving you a stable amplified electric sound that is perfect for music styles such as classic rock, blues and even metal. The Shorty CT is an excellent addition to any guitar collection. Thanks to its basswood body, bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard, this Shorty Black produces an excellent core tone with an emphasis on the mid frequencies. Hofner offers a full-fledged electric guitar in a very manageable package.

De afstelling bij ontvangst laat veel te wensen over, maar zo gauw hij goed afgesteld is speelt hij erg fijn.
Het enige wat nogal wennen is is dat de gitaar niet goed is balans is, hij heeft een erg lichte kleine body en daardoor wil hij omkantelen. Hierdoor is het zittend even zoeken naar een positie waarin het fijn speelt en met een strap is het niet geweldig. Hierdoor geef ik hem 4/5 sterren in plaats van 5/5.
In conclusie: Een fijne gitaar die even wat aandacht nodig heeft, maar geweldig speelt en aanvoelt voor deze prijsklasse.
speel nog maar pas guitar niet veel ervaring maar als je de humbucker helemaal naar boven instelt klinkt hij al lekker aggressief , en ja service bax super weer op 2 dagen thuis
Hoewel ik 'm niet bij Bax heb gekocht (was 'n verjaarscadeau), toch een recentie. Ik heb deze gitaar nu ruim een half jaar in huis en ben dik tevreden. Lekker pittig geluid, makkelijk bespeellbaar (volledige mensuur) en makkelijk mee te nemen op reis (lengte is maar 80 cm!!!) Hij is al een paar keer mee op reis gegaan. De gitaar is overall netjes afgewerkt.
Door de prima kwaliteit en de relatief lage prijs, is'ie bij uitstek geschikt voor mods Ikzelf heb inmiddels een Seymour Duncan SH-4 besteld als upgrade voor de pickup. (Ben erg benieuwd). Op internet zijn diverse exemplaren met tremolobrug te zien
