Gretsch celebrate their 140th birthday by dropping special 140th Double Platinum Anniversary models of their most iconic guitars - a collection that wouldn't be complete without a Penguin like the G6134T-140 LTD. This chambered electric guitar features a high-gloss, two-tone nitro finish where the front of the body is dipped in Stone Platinum while the back has been coated with Pure Platinum lacquer. The special badge on the headstock and the G-Arrow controls also help make it clear that you're looking at a very exclusive axe here, which thankfully comes complete with a deluxe G6238XL hardshell case.

Meanwhile, the set-in maple neck and ebony fretboard team up to keep the response fast-and-tight.

In the case of the G6134T-140 LTD, that great Gretsch sound stems from a fresh pair of FT-67 Filter’Tron pickups which have been mounted along with four pots that will help you turn the forceful core sound and balanced overtones into beefy lows, clear mids and sparkling highs. At the same time, tasteful vibratos are accommodated by the String-Thru Bigsby B3CP tailpiece while the Grover Imperial locking tuners keep the tuning in check.
