Gretsch's G5220 Jet BT is a single-cut electric guitar from the accessible Electromatic Series, built using a chambered mahogany body, a maple top, a mahogany neck and a walnut fretboard that adds warmth and a lightly rounded bite to the overall airy foundation sound.

The G5220 Electromatic Jet BT: Broad'Tron Humbuckers

Two Black Top Broad'Tron humbucker pickups are responsible for delivering the sound to your amplifier but, unlike regular humbuckers, these Baldwin-styled pickups offer more definition which makes this guitar excellent for music styles including rock, rockabilly and country. Each pickup has its own volume potentiometer and shared master volume and tone controls, while the master volume pot also has a treble bleed circuit to ensure that none of the high frequencies are lost regardless of the settings.

Wrote the following about Gretsch G5220 Electromatic Jet BT Bristol Fog Electric Guitar

Lovely quality guitar, surprisingly heavy (compared to my Squier) but feels very well made and has a lovely finish. Sound is typical Gretsch although it looks like a little setup effort will be required as the action seems a little high.
Delivery by Bax was good (taking into consideration it was in the Xmas period).

Deze zeer mooie gitaar laat zich heel gemakkelijk bespelen, ligt zeer goed in de hand en voelt tegelijk enorm soliede aan. De afwerking is subliem voor deze prijs en de klank is van het bovengemiddelde, ben hier zeer tevreden over, kan zowat alle kanten op van ballad tot metal. Ik ben ook op zeer aangename wijze ontvangen in Goes door Alain die mij op terechte no nonsens wijze en met vakkennis heeft begeleid bij deze keuze. Een fijne kennismaking.
