General

The ultimate in flexibility, the Godin Radium-X is able to turn out acoustic as well as electric guitar sound. The chambered mahogany body comes topped with swamp ash, taking care of a lush and resonant acoustic foundation, while a hulking Bare Knuckle Boot Camp True Grit Zebra humbucker at the bridge and a refined Duncan Jazz SH-2n humbucker at the neck take care of the electrics, laying down tasteful tone that spans everything from warm distortions to sparkling cleans. This highly innovative yet lightly understated model has been made in Canada and comes complete with a deluxe gig bag.

The Radium-X + LR Baggs

The unique twist in the Radium-X tale is the exclusively designed LR Baggs X-tremolo bridge, which hides six built-in HEX saddle transducers that magically capture the acoustic sound string by string. The beauty of this three-pickup system is that guitarist don't only get to flip from electric to acoustic sound at will, but can blend the two sounds to open up an entirely fresh can of possible tonal profiles. The Radium-X has also been kitted out with two jack outputs so the electric and acoustic sound can be split or mixed. And, since this is every bit a deluxe Godin offering, comfy playability is guaranteed by a modern 12 inch fretboard radius and a set of twenty-two medium frets.
