General

The Godin ACS Rosewood HG is a special guitar with a beautiful rosewood top. It is a nylon-stringed, classical guitar, but when amplified, sounds as natural as an acoustic guitar, only louder The sound can be fine-tuned using the built-in 3-band equalizer. What really sets the ACS apart from other electro-acoustic guitars, though, is the Synth Access output. This is a hexaphonic pickup that captures the sounds from each string and converts them into a MIDI signal so you can control guitar synthesizers like the Roland GR-55GK directly from your guitar. Normally, you would need a special pickup mounted on your guitar for this, but the Godin Multiac already has one built-in.

Godin guitars are all assembled in the Godin factories in Richmond, Quebec or Berlin, New Hampshire. The necks and bodies are all made in La Patrie, Quebec, the place where it all started for Godin. Guitarists over the whole world are constantly looking for new sounds and methods to make music. Guitar makers are also looking for ways to push the boundaries further. Godin are at the forefront of these innovations and have unique features on their instruments, like built-in MIDI pickups for controlling synthesizers.
