Gibson present the Original Collection SG Special! Based on the original, stoptail bridge-equipped model from 1961, this double cutaway solid-body features a slightly more modern Compensated Wraparound bridge for enhanced intonation, but apart from that subtle, vintage-inspired difference, this SG model comes with everything you'd expect from a '60s-style Gibson guitar. The mahogany body has been glued to a mahogany neck, and this Special version even boasts a rosewood fretboard.

To be able to turn the warm and lush foundation sound of this SG Special into authentic amplified tone, Gibson have bolted in two P90 pickups. These, combined with the 3-way switch and the four well-known pots with Orange Drop capacitors, make sure the guitar offers you vintage rock and blues sounds, as well as stuff on the more soulful side of things.
