General

While utterly devoted to the unmistakable styling of its original '60s ancestor, the Gibson Modern Collection Les Paul Classic comes with a few highly appreciated and performance-boosting tweaks. The classic foundation is provided by a mahogany body finished with a maple top, and has been given the '9-Hole' weight relief treatment, which thankfully eases the notorious back-breaking weight of a standard LP. The bound, 12" radius rosewood fretboard has been loaded with 22 medium frets and coupled with a Slim Taper neck profile to make for superior grip-comfort, whether grabbing chords or hitting licks. This modern classic also comes complete with hard shell case and Gibson accessory kit.

The Modern Collection Les Paul Classic: Supple Tone

The Les Paul Classic comes loaded with a pair of 60s BurstBucker pickups to deliver all of the supple '60s tone you would expect but with the extra punch of a pair of bare, uncovered coils. On top of that, Gibson have gifted this sonic beast with a bank of four push/pull pots. So every tone and every volume pot can be popped to engage the coil-tap, phase switch or pure bypass, splitting open fresh worlds of LP-based sound and confirming the sheer jaw-dropping dominance of this flexible instrument. Naturally, all of this potential comes solidly backed up by the stability of an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, and a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners.

I ordered the guitar one day and arrived the next day, very fast delivery.
The guitar comes in a rigid case and it includes a guitar Strap a check list, a pick gaurd, and a truss rod adjustment tool.

The guitar arrived in perfect condition. It sounds fantastic and the design is really impressive.
I used to play squier guitar so I was used to strat designs. I must recognize Strats are better when playing in sitting position, but I like the sound of Gibsons. The guitar is heavier than a squier guitar but that's not a problem for me.

Wat een mooie gitaar van Gibson zeg! Dit is mijn eerste exemplaar van Gibson die ik mag bezitten en heb hier geen nog seconde spijt van gehad! De afwerking, het speelgemak en mooie klanken zijn voor mij de belangrijkste punten die er uitspringen.
Bax heeft mij uitstekend geholpen en alle mogelijkheden geboden om de Les Paul Classic uit te proberen. Ik zou de winkel zeker aanbevelen en mijn volgende aankoop zal zeer waarschijnlijk weer in een vestiging van Bax-music zijn!

Ontzettend mooie gitaar, zeer mooi afgewerkt en de prachtige structuur van het hout is erg goed zichtbaar door de lak heen. Gitaar was prima afgesteld en speekt heerlijk. De heerlijke geur van de nitro is een bonus! Met de service van Bax ben ik ook erg tevreden, snelle en correcte levering! Heb inmiddels alweer een volgende gitaar besteld bij Bax!

Zeer goede gitaar heb nog een Gibson maar deze in combinatie met de pull pots maakt het helemaal af, compliment voor Bax voor de snelle en correcte levering.
