General

The G&L Tribute Legacy (Blueburst) is a Legacy model electric guitar from the exquisitely built, yet affordable Tribute series. The Legacy sports one of the most famous guitar body shapes in the world and is available in several colours and two different types of wood. This version has a transparent-blue Sunburst finish over the striking grain of Swamp Ash. Additionally, this guitar has a pleasant-looking white pickguard and a natural-coloured maple fretboard.

The convincing sounds of the Tribute Legacy

The G&L Tribute Legacy's unforgettable looks perfectly match its amazing sound. Its three vintage-style single-coil pickups (alnico V) produce the traditional '50s tones with proper punch. You can browse through the extensive tonal range of this grateful instrument with its 5-way pickup switch and tone controls (treble and bass). The tremolo allows you to create subtle vibrato effects.

G&L guitars

The G&L Musical Instruments brand name comes from the initials of its two founders: George Fullerton and Leo Fender. The latter - a veritable guitar-world celebrity - considered G&L instruments to be his very best. G&L guitars are comparable to Leo Fender's earlier creations, but they all feature a modern twist. Both G&L's USA series as their affordable Tribute series are highly regarded among musicians.

Wrote the following about G&L Tribute Legacy electric guitar Blueburst

Heureuse surprise, pour mon anniversaire, j'ai reçu cette guitare en cadeau.
Après l'ouverture du colis je découvre un instrument de toute beauté avec une finition exemplaire.
Une table d'un beau bleu veiné, les contours noir. Enfin bref un rutilant blueburst. le manche est verni ce qui surprend un peu, mais dans mon cas on s'y fait rapidement..
Pas de frettes qui dépassent , les mécaniques semblent au top. Après un réglage de ce manche pour réduire l'action du départ (3mm) je suis arrivé très rapidement à 1,2 mm. Il s'en est suivi un confort de jeu plus que satisfaisant.
Les trois micros sont dignes des Fender stratocaster, un petit coté vintage que j'ai corrigé avec des cordes filées 10x48 plat de jazz pour tout dire, tout à fait dans la lignée de Léo fender.
Pas de désaccord brutale généré par vibrato qui est un must à mon avis.

Pour finir un instrument qui ne déçoit pas, branché dans un Fender Mustang3, un Peavy et un vox valvetronix 60, il y a vraiment de quoi se faire plaisir.

Une mention à l'équipe BaxShop pour son sérieux et sa réactivité ainsi qu'au soin apporté au colis.

Als je een echte Fender wilt hebben koop dan deze, dan weet je zeker dattie uit de States komt en niet uit China, Mexica, Indonesia, Thailand, whatever...

Alles wat je verlangt van een Fender heeftie, de lloks, de feel, plays like a charm, the sound, you name it...en dan voor 500 bucks, man, gewoon te gek...

PS ben zelf te arm heb een J&D Start Vintagedeluxe gekocht voor 160 bucks...
