This ASAT Classic is part of G&L Tribute Series electric guitars and has a modern design based on a famous classic from the Fifties, including Magnetic Field Design single-coil pickups. If you're into combinations of the latest technology and vintage looks, you certainly needn't look further than this G&L ASAT Classic in Sonic Blue.
The ASAT Classic: Top Quality Materials and Construction
The body of this blue ASAT Classic is carefully carved out of basswood, which is known for its light weight and balanced but mid-focused sonic character. Combined with the bolt-on maple neck with satin-gloss and silky-soft finish, this guitar has an articulated and bright voice with a body designed to give access to the highest frets. Coated in a fitting Sonic Blue and completed with gorgeous white pearloid scratchplate, this instrument astounds with ease.
Magnetic Field Design Pickups
The pickups mounted on this G&L guitar have an entirely new design compared to traditional single-coils, that is to say, the poles can be individually adjusted to set the right string height. This not only allows you the possibility to have all strings sound equally loud, but can also create a completely different balance playing around with the volume of each string. These Magnetic Field Design pickups serve up a surprisingly bright and airy, high-output sound that gives way to country, blues and rock-n-roll.
