General

The friendly priced ASAT Classic Bluesboy from G&L's Tribute series lets you take it by the hand as you lead it from country twang to bluesy crunch. In addition to its familiar fifties single-cut look, this electric guitar features both a single-coil and a humbucker pickup. You can go from the bright bite of the single-coil in the bridge position to the higher output and warmth of the neck-position humbucker (ideal for crunchy blues licks and musical leads) with a flick of the wrist. This version of G&L's Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy has an ash body with a glorious 3-tone Sunburst lacquer finish.

G&L Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy: tonal properties

The beautifully grained Swamp Ash body of the G&L Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy produces a sound that rivals its rich tone with deep basses and sparkling trebles in the beauty department. Its neck has a traditional maple construction and a 22-fret rosewood fretboard for a slightly fuller tone. Thanks to the adjustable magnets of the Magnetic Field Design single-coil, the overall balance can be accurately edited. Lastly, the steel bridge features six adjustable brass saddles for improved attack and intonation.

G&L guitars

The G&L Musical Instruments brand name comes from the initials of its two founders: George Fullerton and Leo Fender. The latter - a veritable guitar-world celebrity - considered G&L instruments to be his very best. G&L guitars are comparable to Leo Fender's earlier creations, but they all feature a modern twist. Both G&L's USA series as their affordable Tribute series are highly regarded among musicians.
