General

The Fender Standard Telecaster is ideal for guitarists who want both powerful double-coil humbucking pickups as well as single-coils for that legendary Tele twang. At first glance, this looks like a regular Telecaster with HH configuration, but its push/pull tone control enables you to split both humbuckers at the same time. The inner coil is deactivated, giving you access to the pure sound of Fender's very first electric solid-body. Essentially, this Standard telecaster is two guitars for the price of one!

Standard Telecaster HH PF: familiar look and dark fretboard

This Fender Tele with double humbuckers has a dark fretboard made of pau ferro instead of rosewood. Both wood types have similar tonal characteristics, but the latter is on the endangered species list. What's more, pau ferro is slightly lighter and adds more definition to the overall sound. As you'd expect, this Standard Telecaster HH has a fixed bridge with a string-through-body construction and six solid block saddles that provide excellent tuning stability, intonation, extended sustain, and a little extra comfort for your right hand.
