General

'Plus Top' in Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS Plus Top (rosewood, Tobacco Sunburst) means that this guitar has a very attractive top. This is the familiar Standard Stratocaster - a good buy for every guitarist who is serious about their playing - that features a light yet durable alder body with a flamed maple top. Flamed maple has an exceptional grain, in this case gleaming beneath the Tobacco Sunburst finish. This is the HSS version with a rosewood fretboard.

HSS

HSS is short for Humbucker, single-coil, single-coil, which is this guitar's pickup configuration. The two single-coil pickups produce a bright sound whereas the humbucker provides a full (hum-free), powerful output that is excellently suited for rougher types of music. Additionally, this Stratocaster is equipped with a tremolo for mild vibrato effects. All in all, this electric guitar is a true renaissance axe.
