General

The Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS Plus Top Locking Tremolo (rosewood, Tobacco Sunburst) is a luxury version of the Standard Stratocaster. Firstly, it's an HSS version, which means it has a humbucker to support the two single-coil pickups. Additionally, this guitar features a genuine Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo that allows you create the craziest dive bombs while still retaining the tuning of your instrument. Plus Top refers to the beautiful flamed maple top.

A stylish classic

The Stratocaster is one of the most famous guitar models ever made and this Standard version is an excellent, affordable choice for serious beginners. As this is a Fat Strat - a.k.a. a Strat with a humbucker - it also offers a wide range of sounds: country, funk, blues, rock, hard rock or metal, you can make it happen. What's more, this is the Plus Top version with a Tobacco Sunburst finish and a rosewood fretboard for a rounder sound.

Wrote the following about Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS Plus Top Locking Tremolo RW

Prachtige gitaar, mooi gemaakt, speelt lekker en klinkt goed.
Alleen waar ik al bang voor was bleek waar, bij gebruik van de tremolo blijft de gitaar niet op stemming. Het probleem zit 'm hoogstwaarschijnlijk in de ophanging van de Floyd Rose in de studs. Als de studs van een andere kwaliteit, of legering, zijn dan beschadigen ze snel en ontstaat er een braam waardoor de tremolo niet in precies dezelfde positie terug komt in de rust-stand.
Jammer, maar ik heb 'm meteen teruggestuurd ...
