Who's the one guitarist that didn't start out with the "Smoke on the Water" riff? The answer is Ritchie Blackmore, since the revered English guitarist was of course the one who came up it as well as other classic Deep Purple sounds. Blackmore's weapon of choice is a Fender Stratocaster, and not just any Strat. Part of the Artist Series, this here Fender Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster combines vintage vibes with a number of surprising upgrades and comes complete with a deluxe gig bag.

The Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster: Special Design

The Blackmore Strat offers an interesting mix of vintage specs and modern features. For starters, you're getting a maple neck with a 7.25" radius rosewood fretboard that's been partially scalloped, which means the strings are easier to bend to play Ritchie-style vibratos. Meanwhile, the forceful tone this alder-bodied axe is capable of delivering is courtesy of a pair of Seymour Duncan® Quarter Pound™ Strat® pickups and, so the guitar is fully in line with Ritchie's own, the middle pickup is a dummy.

Als fan van voor mij de grootste gitarist aller tijden Ritchie Blackmore heb ik deze gitaar voor de 2e keer aangeschaft. De eerste heb ik een japanse hals op laten zetten en enkele modificaties door gevoerd. De 2e heb ik dit jaar (10 jaar later) aangeschaft. Nu gaat die als de brandweer . De scalloped fretboard is even wennen maar na wat jaren ervaring voel ik dat nu goed aan. Gemakkelijk benden en je solo's in een rap tempo ten gehore kunnen brengen. Daar is deze gitaar op gebouwd. De klankkleur van de gitaar voorzien van 2 stevige 2 Seymour Duncans doen je gehoor strelen en dat ondanks dat deze gitaar in Mexico is geproduceerd. Vanuit Bax shop kan ik ook prettig op terug kijken. Prima afhandeling van de bestelling. Keurig op tijd bezorgd. Kortom Ik beleef er veel plezier aan. Van harte aan te bevelen deze prachtige gitaar.
