The Fender Player incarnation of the Stratocaster mashes authentic Fender styling up with the full comfort of modern playability and then serves it up with mouth-watering, limited edition details like the parchment pickguard, roasted maple neck and the high-grade sound of three specially selected single-coil pickups.

The Player Series

The Mexican-made Fender Player Series is the physical and spiritual successor of the renowned Standard Series, so you're assured of a high-grade Fender build with a focus on playing comfort. The modern C-profile of the maple neck sits snug in the fret hand and has been finished in satin-gloss for a fast and supple feel as you navigate the twenty-two medium jumbo frets, and the familiar contours of the Strat body shape hug you in all the right places.

Versatile Sound Plus Extra Output

The solid alder body has been dipped in a classic high-gloss before being loaded with a set of three Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil Strat pickups. These pups put a spin on that classic Fender spank and growl by boosting the output a touch and adding some extra Texan, blues-style flavour. Via the expanded tone control and five-way switch, a wide array of tonal profiles can be dialled in and, as you'd only expect from a Fender model, all of it is fully supported by tight basses, clear bell-like trebles and some sweet, mid-range bite.
