General

The Fender Lead II from the Player Series is a worthy tribute to the eponymous model that first saw the light of day back in 1979. This indifferently cool Fender is made for guitarists seeking something different. The solid alder body wears a striking finish while two slanted Fender Alnico 5 single-coils deliver equally striking potency. Next to the pickup selector-switch, a phase switch is fitted, offering the unique power to flip the single-coils out of phase and produce that iconic 'quack' so loved by reggae and funk guitarists.

The Lead II: Direct, Familiar Feel

The nonchalant, effortless cool this guitar exudes is matched by its sheer playability. The modern C-profile maple neck, 9.5-inch fretboard radius and 22 medium frets offer a supple, refined and ultimately comfortable playing experience while, in contrast to models like the Mustang or Duo-Sonic, the Lead II has the standard 25.5-inch scale length found with the Strat and Tele. To finish the hardware, a fixed and ever stable bridge is fitted with six steel block-saddles that add satisfyingly bright tonal accents.

Fender Player Series Lead II Crimson Red Transparent PF Electric Guitar with Phase Switch

Idiale gitaar voor langere tijd "on stage".

De gitaar kostte me toch €620,- Niet echt weinig.
