General

The Mexican built Fender Jazzmaster Player is made for the guitarist who craves the vibe of an offset solid body guitar but doesn't want to pay the Earth. To sweeten the deal a little more, this Jazzmaster comes complete with all the modern trimmings. If you're always reaching the top of the neck and finding you're just one note short? Here's an extra fret! Yep! Fender have added a 22nd fret, bringing this Player version of the Jazzmaster well up to speed. With two fat humbuckers fitted with Alnico 2 magnetic cores, you have a formidable foundation that you can start building on. This guitar is capable of wide middle tones and soft treble and bass tones, meaning it can handle anything from straight up rock to new wave.

Player Jazzmaster: effortless playing comfort

The Player series models are appropriately named considering their excellent playing comfort. That's down to features like the maple neck's modern C profile and satin-gloss finish as well as the pau ferro fretboard's 9.5-inch radius. The alder body has a high-gloss finish and is mounted with a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style adjustable bridge with 'floating' tremolo tailpiece. As soon as you get this guitar in your hands, whether on stage, in the studio or rehearsal room, you can feel that the Fender Jazzmaster Player is built for action.
