Fender Modern Player Telecaster Plus: modern versatility

Instead of the standard duo of single coils, this Telecaster Plus features an HSS pickup configuration. Up front, it has a Telecaster pickup and in the middle there's a Strat single coil. At the bridge, we find a humbucker that can also be used as a single-coil thanks to a convenient mini switch. Throw in the master volume and tone controls and you are equipped with a wide array of different tones. The Strat-style bridge's six saddles can be adjusted individually, ensuring perfect intonation and a base tone with lots of sustain but without dead notes and buzzing.

Classic pine

The lightweight pine body of this Modern Player reminds us of the very first Telecaster made by Leo Fender, moreover, it produces a balanced Fender sound with clear mid frequencies. The maple neck is made out of a single piece of wood and adds proper definition to the overall sound. It features a fretboard with 22 jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch radius that allows for low action, ensuring great playing comfort in combination with the Strat-style body contour.
