Lincoln Brewster has been mesmerising fans with his intensely expressive and dynamic plying style for over 25 year already - and it's something he just couldn't do without his faithful Fender Strat. This unique signature model manages to cater to the needs of die-hard Fender fans as well as die-hard Brewster fans, since it skilfully mashes up a bit of the old with a bit of the new. The Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster has been built in the USA and comes complete with a stylish case.

The Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster: Modern Playability

The foundation of the Lincoln Brewster Signature Stratocaster is laid down by the ash body, which has been coated in Aztec Gold and sealed in nitrocellulose lacquer. The maple neck has the smooth feel of a Soft V-profile while the matching fretboard offers the controlled grip of a compound radius. Add on the 22 medium-jumbo frets and full set of Vintage Style Locking tuners and you've got supremely comfortable and assured playability.

Active Mid-Boost

Selected by Brewster himself, this Strat is given voice by a DiMarzio® Area 61 single-coil mounted at the bridge and an Area 58 single-coil mounted in the middle and at the neck. This combo unleashes a vast array of that much-sought-after sound of the fifties and sixties, but has been wiped clean of any of the annoying hum, so you can travel smoothly 'from Nashville to Texas'. As a sweet bonus, an active mid-boost has been fitted to give the overall tone an extra push, while the Treble-Bleed circuit retains full tonal character, even at a lower volume level.

Wrote the following about Fender Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster MN Aztec Gold Electric Guitar with Case

Met kortingsactie over een b-stock model ging ik ondanks de bijna Custom Shop prijs toch overstag en heb er afgelopen weekend eentje besteld.

Vandaag samen met een vriendelijke en overduidelijk gitaarminnende medewerker van Bax Amsterdam meteen uitgepakt en gecheckt op eventuele onverhoopte gebreken. De man wees me nog op of de hals wel correct in de neckpocket zat. Alles in orde op wat afgerold beschermplastic en wat vingerafdrukken op de jack output na was er weinig te zien van gebruikssporen.

Eenmaal thuis bleek de gitaar zo goed als op stemming. Zelfs de intonatie was perfect.
Super coumpound radius hals gelakt met nitro lak die niet kleeft.
Maar dan de pickups, wow wat een sound! En dan heb ik nog niet eens de midboost knop uitgetrokken, want als je dat doet gaat de strat werkelijk “ballistic” zonder de originele strat tonen te verliezen.
Ik heb een hele hoop hoogwaardige strats met diverse “fat” en “hot” overwound signature pickups maar hier heeft Fender toch echt een keer de spijker helemaal op de kop geslagen!

De aztec gold nitro lak op de body, two point tremolo, vintage tuners en stamped zadels, de afgeronde en gesigneerde neckplate, met uiteindelijk toch de hele klassieke uitstraling van weleer, deze stratocaster is een prachtig kunstwerk geworden waar overduidelijk de allermooiste wensen met de allerfijnste gitaarspecialisten versmolten zijn tot een van de beste strats van de afgelopen 75 jaar!
