General
The Fender Player Series Stratocaster is the spiritual successor to the popular Standard series. This model offers the same high level of playing comfort, excellent value for money and all the versatility of a Strat. The solid alder body comes kitted out with three newly-designed Alnico single-coil pickups, giving you the full spectrum of classic Fender-flavoured tone, while a modern two-point tremolo bridge firms up the stability and the '50s-throwback 'spaghetti' logo on the headstock polishes everything off in old-school style.
The Player Series: Modern Playing Comfort
This Player Series Strat has definitely been designed to deliver maximum playability. The back of the maple neck has been given a C-profile carve and sealed with satin-gloss for fast and smooth playing comfort while the matching 9.5-inch radius maple fretboard has been loaded with twenty-two medium jumbo frets to complete a light feel beneath the finger.

Fender has been building alder-bodied guitars since 1956 and for good reason. The high density of alder results in lush resonance, enhanced sustain and adds brightness to the overall tone of the instrument while giving the upper mids a sweet boost. Add on the three-pack of Player Series single-coils and the 5-way switch, and you have a versatile, dependable instrument that's ready for just about anything.
