Based on the same Strat that's graced the stage of many an arena, the Fender Cory Wong Stratocaster brings all the funk of the Vulfpeck guitarist to the masses. One of the more subtle custom tweaks of this bespoke model is the alder body, which is a touch smaller than a standard Strat body to raise the comfort levels, while the neck has been taken from the American Ultra Stratocaster, setting this guitar up with a Modern-D profile and a compound fretboard radius that graduates from a round 10 inches at the nut to a flat 14 inches at the body. Combine that with the rounded heel and set of twenty-two medium jumbo frets and you're looking at light, fast and nimble playability. This limited edition six-string comes in classic Daphne Blue.

The Fender Cory Wong Stratocaster: The Funkmachine

The Fender Cory Wong Stratocaster comes kitted out with a Seymour Duncan Cory Wong Clean Machine Custom Stack Plus at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan® Cory Wong Clean Machine single-coil in the middle and at the neck. This loadout immediately delivers the unmistakable 'quack' needed to back up funk riffs and melodic leads, but another smart detail is the push-pull function of the second tone pot, which bypasses the five-way switch altogether to grant fast access to the much-loved fourth switch position. Besides a deluxe hardshell case, this one-off Strat comes with a hair band for muting the tremolo springs and shape an extra-tight rhythm sound.
