General

This Fender Deluxe Thinline Telecaster in Candy Apple Red is a special model. The f-shaped sound hole adds a bit of extra character to the famous Tele twang, while the 4-way pickup switch adds even more versatility to the sound. In the fourth position, both Vintage Noiseless pickups are activated in series for a thicker humbucker-like sound with plenty of mid range.

Vintage Noiseless pickups

The Vintage Noiseless pickups are responsible for delivering a rich, detailed tone with excellent balance and lots of definition. The string-through-body construction with six individual bridge saddles give even more depth to the Deluxe Thinline Telecaster's sound. The super fast neck has a 12-inch fretboard radius that makes it possible to lower the strings for easier solos and extreme string bends. Playing comfort is assured too, thanks to a maple neck and fretboard.

More than just a classic

Red is a colour that often fades more quickly than others, which is why the alder body has been finished in a tough high-gloss polyurethane lacquer. A 4-ply pickguard will protect the body from wear and tear when you're really going for it too. All in all, the Fender Deluxe Thinline Telecaster gives you classic Tele sounds with a little bit extra.
