General

The Fender Deluxe iOS Stratocaster is a real eye catcher thanks to its Blizzard Pearl finish. It's not just the finish that will catch your attention though. As well as the standard jack output, the iOS Strat is fitted with a USB output and a headphone socket! This means that you can connect this Fender solid body electric guitar to a guitar amplifier, as well as an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, tablet, PC or Mac. The volume of the headphone output can be adjusted on the guitar itself. Needless to say, the Fender Deluxe iOS Stratocaster is an extremely versatile instrument.

Deluxe HSS iOS Stratocaster: connectors

The guitar can be directly connected to a suitable device using the included USB cable. In this way you can easily record to any device that has recording functionality. A USB to Lightning cable is also included so that you can connect the guitar just as easily to an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. If you happen to own an iOS device with a 30-pin connector, you can always purchase the optional USB to 30-pin cable. This particular Fender model is known as a 'Fat Strat' because it has a humbucker pickup fitted in the bridge position. This makes heavier rock and metal sounds possible, in addition to the characteristic sparkling clean tones.
