General

The immense sounds of this Fat Strat by the American Fender company are reminiscent of the impressive size of the state of Texas. And perhaps that is the reason this instrument was named after a part of the flag of this American state. Anyhow, the versatile and powerful sounding HSS pickup configuration is extra strong on this Fender Deluxe Lone Star Stratocaster thanks to the presence of a thundering Twin Head humbucker.

The versatile Deluxe Lone Star

While the Twin Head in the bridge position makes a lot of rough rocking sounds, the two bright Texas Special single-coil pickups twinkle with tight basses, rich mids and sparkling trebles. If you'd like some single-coil clarity, you can use the special S-1 switch on this electric guitar. The S-1 switches off the inner coil of the humbucker, to make it function as a third single coil. Together with the vibrato effects from the vintage-style tremolo, this makes the Lone Star a highly versatile guitar.

Ik heb nu een week op deze gitaar gespeeld en laat ik beginnen met zeggen dat het een pracht van een gitaar is met de mysterieuze turquoise en erg coole seventies headstock. Hij klinkt heel mooi met de splitbare humbucker, er zit ook veel variatie in met de verschillende opties. De single coils klinken ook erg goed met de humbucker. Voor het geld is dit een hele goede en mooie gitaar zeker een aanrader!

Hij speelt lekker, echt een fender maar dan met meer bite door de humbucker.
Die heeft wel nogal een hoge output vergeleken met de singlecoils.
Is ook singlecoil te schakelen voor de traditionele sound.
De gitaar ziet er in het echt mooier uit dan op de foto's, echt een cool ding!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
